8TH WORLD CANCER CONGRESS - 2024 SUMMARY

With great support from our Collaborators, Sponsors, and Scientific Committee, Arjyopa Healthcare successfully completed the 8th Edition of the World Cancer Congress – 2024 held from 18th – 20th March, 2024 at JNU Convention Centre, New Delhi, India. The conference was organized around the theme of “Integrative Medicine and Translational Research in Cancer.” Under the leadership of Dr. K. S. Gopinath (Padmashri Awardee) (Chairman), Senior Oncologist and Director, HCG, and Dr. G K Rath (Chairman-Scientific Committee), Senior Radiation Oncologist and Retd. Head, NCI, AIIMS, New Delhi.

👥 Over 1000+ delegates from 20+ countries gathered in the capital city of India to listen to advances in preventing and treating cancer worldwide. The Congress design facilitated discussion, debate, and interaction, inspiring all delegates with ambition and hope from world leaders in cancer control and research.

🎉 The 8th WCC prestigious summit was inaugurated by Dr. G P Talwar (Padma Bhushan Awardee), Retd. Head, Dept. of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi, followed by dignitaries including Dr. K S Gopinath, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Dr. H R Nagendra, Dr. G K Rath, and Dr. Supriya Chakbarorty.

🏅 The 8th WCC welcomed the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Minister Shri Ashwini Kr. Choubey, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

📑 The Congress received 600+ Abstracts and hosted 16 Keynote Speeches, 120 Invited Speeches, 115 Oral Presentations, and 165 Poster Presentations.

📚 The 8th WCC covered 30 sessions on key topics like Cancer Tumors, Oncology, Role of AI in Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cancer Biomarkers, Robotic Oncology, Head and Neck Cancer, Sarcoma, and Cancer Drug Market.
